The Race & Equality Centre is membership based organisation, which
accepts membership from both individuals and organisations who support
our aims and objectives. Members have a vote at our AGM and are invited
to our general council meetings. We try to involve members as much as
possible and encourage them to influence the direction and scope of the
organisation.
Our Executive Committee is elected from our membership base. They have legal responsibility for the organisation and overall strategic direction comes from them. All committee members are appointed as trustees to the charity and directors for the purposes of company law. They are elected for 3 years at a time. There are often casual vacancies on the Committee so if you are interested please contact us. The Committee meets on the last Thursday of every month.
