The Unity Centre is a focal point for Black and Minority Ethnic communities and co-locates a number of smaller community organisations who operate from the Centre. Details can be found below. 

Hungarian Community in Chester 

Hungarian Community in Chester exists to support and promote Hungarian culture.

Details
The Hungarian Community Group runs a regular Hungarian weekend school at The Unity Centre as well as lots of cultural events throughout the year.

Sanjhi Indian Association (SIA)

SIA is a volunteer run community organisation that exists to support Indian people in West Cheshire and surrounds whilst promoting Indian culture and education.

Details
Sanjhi are responsible for the annual Diwali parade in Chester, they also hold other celebrations of Indian culture and film throughout the year.

Wah Lei Association

The Wah Lei is a volunteer run Chinese Association.

Details
The Wah Lei organise the very successful Chinese New Year parade in Chester each year. They also run a regular Chinese School at Chester University and get involved in a variety of other community activities.

Hong Kong in Chester 

Hong Kong in Chester is a constituted community in the UK formed by like minded Hong Kongers who have recently migrated to Chester. We promote the culture of Hong Kong including art, language and even food and we also organise events and activities to help Hong Kongers integrate into the society, with the aim to create positive impacts. In addition, we work with partners to support Hong Kongers settle down in Chester.
