  • Community Learning

    We offer free drop-in classes for all in Chester, Northwich, Ellesmere Port, Crewe, Macclesfield. These are conversational classes, levelled as higher and lower. Classes can be larger and there are no exams. These are usually 1.5-2 hour classes per week. Students do not have to attend every week, but is beneficial for their language development if they do. Anyone can attend who lives in the Council borough, with no need for testing.


    All the classes are taught by ESOL specialist tutors and are structured as a lesson, but you can just drop in. Anyone can attend these classes and they are FREE. See our timetable for days, levels and venues.



  • Pre-Entry Classes

    We offer Pre-Entry (new to ESOL) classes in Chester, Ellesmere Port, Winsford, Northwich. If leaners have little or no English, they can join pre-entry classes at anytime in the term, to expedite their learning.


    Pre-entry classes are FREE. Get in touch if you would like to join.


  • Accredited Classes

    We offer accredited classes between Entry 1 and Level 1 or 2 and exams are the Ascentis Skills for Life ESOL exams at each level. Usually a course is 1 term (12-14 weeks). Classes are twice a week and each class is between 2-3 hours (4-6 hours per week). Learners must attend 80% of this course as a minimum or they will be asked to withdraw from the course. They must also attend the exam, as it is part of the course. 


    Our accredited classes are £150 per term, but they are FREE for eligible learners. Get in touch to find out if you are eligible for FREE classes.
